This course is designed for new users to Microsoft Word. It introduces the principles of word processing and aims to give basic practical skills and confidence.

What do I need to know before attending?

There are no pre-requisites for this course. 

 

What will I expect to achieve at the end of the training?
At the end of this course
you will be able to:

  • Create, edit, proof and print basic documents produced in Word.
  • Enhance typing by changing fonts and using other attributes such as bold and underline.
  • Layout documents by changing margins, alignment, and by using tabs and indents.
  • Produce basic tables.
